Hi Ray!
I just noted your comment, did you mean the BTS?
I did just a week or so ago sign up and send money to join the BTS officially if that was what the hint was? Waiting for my card and my T-Shirt!!
I'm pretty excited about coming along to the exhibition and picked up a new camera today so hoping to bring that along and possibly enter the photography competition at the show too!
I joined I think before I realised there was a forum!! lol
I'll be at the Show in May aswell. Although not in a BTS shirt as the modest sizes dont go to my ample proportions!!!!
Im starting to save now for all the T's im going to buy!!!
You've already got them so I doubt you'll get jealous!!
But I bought a juv L. parahybana and another A. geniculata sling. Could've easy come home with a large sub adult A. geniculata and an adult female Heteroscodra maculata but luckily didnt take enough cash!!!
Yeah, it's also not so bad when you order a couple or more at a time as the postage is justified then, but when you're paying so much for special delivery it's a bit pricey for one spider! (Listen to me! Mrs sensible! lol!)
Might have to hope that Lee gets some more exciting spids in so I can buy more although after the expense of the new camera I should be taking it easy for a while!
Guys trust me it works out better and easyer on the wallet if you can hang on and wait for the show, your get all the same choices and many more and most if not all of them will be at trade prices. In other words spidershop or better prices, I know its hard to resist but its better to wait and to take advantage of the deals etc. Well unless it is something really special or something you really really want or need.
I have just joined the forum aswell, I am hoping to pick up my first Chile Rose in a couple of weeks. She is practically adult but I fell in love with her when the owner let me hold her in my hand that was it I was smitten!!! My husband is not that keen but I'm not too worried he will come around.
I'm just sorting out the room and making sure I have read loads of books and get advice so as it will all be ok for her when I get her home. I can't wait. Love the pictures of your tarantulas.

Roll on May!!!! It can't come soon enough!
Get yourself a tomtom or some sort of satnav.
It is better to save pennies for may where spiderlings (unless a p metallica or new spider about) can be bought from as little as £2 for a B albopilosum sling and £4-£5 for most other spiderlings. Juveniles and adults arent too bad either
