Hi gang
After some more advice please!
I have a nice collection of slings, which is likely to get larger over the coming couple of months, all are doing well and are eating etc etc.
I have a question though about what sort of housing you move the slings on to once they start to grow bigger? (Currently housed in the transparent 35mm film cannisters)
I have a total of 5 slings of about 1cm in size in these pots and I also have an Avic sling of almost 2cm in the slightly larger size pots that Lee sells in thespidershop (68mm?)
I have just moved my G, pulchra (2-3cm) into a bigger glass enclosure which is about 5"x4" which seems massive for it but it does seem happy enough in there.
I was wondering what types of housing people use for this size spider as the in-between sizes are a nightmare to get something neither too small nor too big??
Also, what do people recommend for arboreal slings in the way of setup in these smaller pots?
My Avic is in the bigger pot and originally I placed some pieces of wood in there. After a while they started to look a little mouldy and as a result I removed them (The Avic seemed to prefer just sitting o the side of the container anyway!)
Should I be trying to put anything in the pots for the arboreals to climb on or should I leave furnishing to a minimum until they have grown on a bit more?
I know this post is massive but I needed to get some ideas from you about what the best solution would be!
Any recommendations appreciated!
