A couple of things by way of reply.

• Most kind about the spider but I don't own any at the moment and don't plan too just yet so please feel free to keep it. Very kind thought.

• I will take a cheque for the book. I operate on trust. I will bring copies with me and I am now going to be behind a table, so I look forward to seeing you.

• How to get them to America? Good question. Todd Gearheart once took a load back but that was a one-off. I CAN post but it would be a tad expensive. Maybe if an American friend is coming over I could give a copy to him/her to send on to you inside USA. If you email me your address details I will see what I can do for you.

• Chris, always a pleasure to muse at your acerbic wit. You must have caught it from me laddie. I promise to see you when next I come by Niedersachsen...I want one of Bo's pizzas.
