Well, at the moment I am over 13st, which is bad, so about 11 will do me fine. My last time I got to 10st5lbs, but I was in my 50's then, gonna be harder now I am in my 60's lol

Hehehe...a glance at a bar of chocolate = instant weight gain, but getting it off is a different story, unless you get flu!

Keep eating a good variety of things...allow yourself some treats otherwise dieting gets disheartening and weight loss won't be any quicker for total deprivation...funny enough getting stressed slows down weight loss, so don't push yourself too hard!
I find the *little and often* method works well...you feel like you're getting plenty to eat but actually are not putting that many calories in at all.
Anyways...I'll be cheering you on from here, and I'll stick your sponsorship money in your mitt when I next see you...unless you want it posting sooner rather than later?

BTS will be fine thanks Louise.

I have come down with the flippin cold thats going round, this is twice in 5 weeks.

Thing is, I do such different hours every day I don't have time for proper meals most days, just a banana and bottle of water at break, and eat at teatime.

                Hi Mary,
I wish you all the best with your goal and I hope I gain every Kilo you manage to lose.

2 stones is alot to get rid of in such a short time.

You will need to use every trick there is to do so.

My mother cut out potatoes out of here diet comletely and that helped alot. Cold foods are better than hot. Lower the temps in your house to make your body heat itself more. Do exercises during every ad break on tv and so on..

Ps: cutting out breakfast completely supposedly makes you gain weight, not lose it as you would expect.

                Good luck

Another PS: Avoid coca-cola or other soft drinks at all cost. They are extremely fattening drinks without you even having eaten anything.

Okey dokey...BTS it is then! £50 for whatever you lose.

Awww, you get well soon *big hugs*...this latest cold has been a stinker, I'd only just got over pneumonia at the end of November, so the last thing I needed was a second dose of lurgy!

Fruit is always a good nibble...but bananas are a bit pants for the calorie count (but it doesn't sound like you eat particularly much anyways!), oranges are good for stimulating the body etc or take vitamin c tablets to help your body cope with losing the weight...it can knock hell out of the immune system! xxxx

I had Pneumonia 2 years ago, doc said pain in chest was nothing, 6 weeks later he rushed me into hospital from surgery.
                      I have cereal for brekkie.
Tomorrow I don;t go in till 2.15 so will have a bit of lunch.
Then whatever I have sorted for tea as I finish at 6.15.

Most days like Friday I start at 10 am finish at 2 pm, too late to eat as teatime is nearly on us.

Thanks for the support Louise and Steve. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Why is it that doctors always underestimate pneumonia?!! Same story with me...then I spent 4 weeks on antibiotics and steroids, not to mention they thought my right arm was a good pincushion for taking samples from! *faints* I hate needles!!

Anyways...good luck with that weight loss, you can do it!!

good thing you don't have loads of pets with needle-like teeth, then!
                          ...oh right.

Mary, it's probably best to have a late lunch of decent size and a tiny, low-carb tea, anyways...the body burns off more carbs and calories during the day, less at night...so what we eat at night tends to stick with us, while what we eat during the day tends to get used more...or at least that's what i've been told.
Returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars... Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.
