BTW I still refuse to go to that special shop with zippy costumes not even for the once in a life time beer at your expence!

            Hi,
I've read this thread with interest! I've just got my first spider, an A.huriana ( I only know that because Colin enlightened me, I thought she was a minatrix). Does anybody know of any good books on arboreal species, especially avics.

At present there is nothing specific on arboreal species but Ron Baxters book covers them pretty well.

I love this book James, a tad heavy but full of info, history and advice whilst also acknowledging there's loads more to learn. Stan is currently writing the 3rd edition which is expected by the end of the year, all going well.

Since this thread seems to have changed to include sources of books I'd recommend www.bookdepository.co.uk. For books 'in print' and as long as they're not newly published, best-sellers then I find them to be the cheapest source. Their site even links to Amazon for the same book to order from there if it is cheaper! Shipping is free worldwide and I've found their service very good (despatch estimates are accurate, packaging good, etc.). As an example The Tarantulas Keepers Guide by Stanley A Schultz is £6.92 - despatched within 2-3 days.

Don't you hate it when you buy something and someone tells you that they know someone whose selling it cheaper than what you bought it for. A few pence shy of £10 inc p+p on eBay then this happens:-

That difference could be a box of crickets!
