    Hello Kate,

well we will have to see if I want more T's. To be honest I don't even have room for these new ones so I think that settles if my collection is complete or not lol.

I was told exactly the same when I got my first tatoo done and he was right, I got another one a year later but they were both carefully planned and I just weighed up the pros and cons of getting a THIRD tatoo and decided I had enough.

My collection of Tarantulas is rather meek compared to others I'm sure but I have got a pinch of everything now I think.

I've got some nhandu chromatus which covers black red and white, some green bottle blues which cover green blue and orange and I was on the lookout for a blonde Tarantula but could not find one that was either nice enough, not too big/aggressive or hard to find.

This one is not really that blonde but it reminds me a bit of a teddy bear colour so that will do nicely and it is a very fluffy tarantula

I really couldn't think of any more I'd want except maybe a b. bohemi

And don't try and give me any more ideas now lol

Toran gave me a couple of them too small for now to worry about being bitten though, but saw the mother eat, and she seemed quite fast!

Tom, that's a good attitude you have. best to think things through, means you only get what you can look after.

i agree with you, Kate...WC is necessary to a point, and complete outright bans are harmful in the cases you mentioned. ideally what should happen is moderate collecting to keep new bloodlines coming in, without damaging the population, smuggling should flat out stop if possible (refusing to buy from dodgy sources would help, so that takes some initiative from the buyers, always making sure that that next spider is legally obtained), and obviously countries taking care of the habitats...development is an unfortunately unavoidable thing for now, but governments can step in to protect some areas at least.
Returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars... Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.
