    Generally if they are covered by CITES they are protected due to dwindling numbers so I would think that egg sacks would be covered also.

      I agree Layla, having read through the CITIES site, it seems any "living specimen" is covered,
      egg sacs contain living eggs / embryos / nymphs / spiderlings so...........
      Don't forget to learn what you can, when you can, where you can.
