I realise you can't please everyone but if it was held in say, the Midlands like the show, then more people might turn up.
If distance is no object, maybe members from further South will be as willing to travel further North?. It seeems to me that every year it has been held in Radlett next to no one turns up so don't you think its about time for a change? Also this could be why most of the commitee members are from the Southern regions.

Most of the committe are from the South?

Demographically speaking Guy, 5 committee are from the South ( and until I moved South we lived in the Midlands), 6 are from the Midlands, three from the South West and Richard from North Wales. So I cant accept that we are all Southerners.

However I do agree Guy that its time for a change.

We had thought of having it after the show but by then every one is knackered and need to go home. Its a difficult problem but not an impossible one.

I joined the committee when I was living in Germany. I was born in BIRMINGHAM (The City that gave you all Ozzy Osbourne and Aston Villa) and I only 'happen' now to be living in Oxfordshire. If you ever call me a southerner again, I shall call you a scouser!

I am glad it is near to me - I have to make the trip 4 times a year and the less petrol I use out of my own pocket the better!

Seriously though Guy, I personally couldn't give a monkeys cuss where it is held. If people want to come they will. There MUST be lots of BTS members that live in LONDON who could easily have come on Saturday but none did.

We shall see what happens I guess.
