SO WHY DID THE SPECIALIST HANDLER LET THEM DROP IT TO THE FLOOR???

I get the distinct impression of being told to politly go away! Not that I expected anything else from the BBC tbh. They charge us for a license and put rubbish on 99% of the time! Says it all really dont it?
Come on - we all know it wasn't dropped - it was edited - one minute it;s in the shirt, they cut away, put the spid on the floor and take another shot. Simple as that.

Do you really think something like this is that damaging to our hobby? Is anyone who watched that episode, who wasn't scared of spiders before, now going to be? Would you rather they used a genuinely dangerous spider species so it was more realistic?

Not trying to be funny or critical of peoples intentions but this country seems to be full of people who love to complain about anything, and this just doesn't seem like that big a deal to me.

The BTS, and us as members, have a responsibility to educate people wherever we can about the animals we care about. Eastenders does not, they are there to entertain people (not that I find it at all entertaining myself).

I would be more up for complaining if they obviously used the spiders in a way that was dangerous to them, eg, dropping/throwing a T. I didn't see the episode in question so I don't know if that is the case.
