I see them often for around 15 - 20 for a 2 inch specimen in the classifieds.
Last year at the BTS expo there were a few for sale here and there and i saw 3 inch specimens going for about 20 - 25 and some 1.5 - 2 inch jobbies three for a tenner on one tableDon't forget to learn what you can, when you can, where you can.

nice spider!
my own limited experience with them (one dead sling and one apparently ok adult) leeds me to advise lots of moisture. i believe they are very prone to dehydration.
unfortunately i don't see my adult much, she has burrowed and refuses to come out!Returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars... Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.

haha yeah Faye, they are normal for flashy spiders...they hide
however, that does make the odd viewing that much more spectacular!Returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars... Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.

Faye
That looks like a spider that is using a captive environment as it would do if it were in it's native location...or to put human emotions to it.....Happy and contentDon't forget to learn what you can, when you can, where you can.
