No spider species is a bad choice, some are just more interesting to deal with
My first old-worlder was a 2.5 inch P. murinus. After spending 2 hours held hostage by him in the bathroom I finally got him in his tank, but after that he was no harder to care for than any other T. And at least he couldn't kick hairs at me!
