congratulations Colin and Elaine, all the best! but you should both move down to London so i can visit more often
Adz, well if i succeed in breeding some chalcodes, i'll let you know...but we're in for the waiting game with the length of time they take to grow!
i agree, they are lovely spiders...the beauty is subtle rather than in your face. don't get me wrong, i like some flashy spiders too...but i am fond of my brown and beige spiders!Returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars... Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.

Hi everyone. I thought I would just post up ans say a big thank you to all you guys and gals who made this years event one of the best yet. Despite the appalling weather you still made it. Look on the bright side at least we let you into the foyer to wait out of the rain , Mark P and me were drenched on the carpark.
The show was a huge sucess and I think everyone had a great time. There was an enormous amount of spiders on display and I hope you all found what you were looking for.
This year we asked you to complete a questionairre to see if we can improve on the event next year. I have taken all of your comments on board and will be installing a few of the ideas. For instance it was suggested that we provide a seating area in order for you to relax, chat or just eat your sandwiches.Consider it done.
From my pint of view I didnt actually get to see much as most of the time I was like a rafing bull trying to sort out various problems. Someone asked me to smile.....Never. Im afraid I was born with this face and its to late now.
I know I look angry but honestly I am not ( well not all of the time anyway).
I moan and groan and just latly have started to creak but I do enjoy organising the BTS Exhibition. It is after all why I originally joined the BTS Commitee some 17 years ago ( How old am I?). So roll on 2010 , the 25th BTS Exhibition so expect a bigger, better show with even more traders and spiders. The date will be confirmed soon.
I would also like to thank the BTS Commitee for their help both before and on the day. A particular thanks to Mark and Kim who keep me sane and not forgetting Angela who should be canonised for coping with me.
Thanks again
Ray and Angela
