Hey, is anyone of the forum going to leeds with T's to sell? Im mostly interested in juveniles upwards as have too many slings lol . As most people have i have a list as long as my arm and about 5-6 tanks that need some occupants. Also sadly i recently lost my Grammostola sp.North to old age RIP Jim beam.

Yes, our best wishes are with you and you hopefully have many good memories of Jim. If it's not too awkward, any special meaning behind the name? I sometimes wonder what people think about us when we name our 8-legged friends and then sometimes wonder about the names themselves.So how do you know your tarantula is British?

As far as names go, some of them are a concious desicion based on information gathered about the t in question. I named him Jim beam as he reminded me of the bourbon....smooth and golden brown lol. The others have some strange names and some not so strange.
I think we all name our t's just as we name our cats dogs etc..although you cant sit with a spider on you knee infront of the tv (lol) we still have that unique connection with our pets, and when they live for some time we kind of become used to having them around (kind of like an extra family member
)
Yeah Leeds was recommended by a good friend and as its a small show we should all do what we can to make sure it grows as there is not enough shows of this nature heheTarantulas kept:
