It's a good program. Amongst other things, it shows Robert Raven collecting and identifying a new species (C. tropix), although I think a fair bit more work might have gone into it than was shown by the program

Ive always considered Australia to be New World as its outside the mapped world prior to finding the Americas. The Old World being Europe, Asia and Africa, the lands attached and the islands.
Are you suggesting that Australian Ts and descendants of Old World species eg. Selonocosmia?

i belive so, along with malaysia and other southern asian countries. i belive that Selonocosmia are among the taxonomicly linked species Peter.

Its sadly more complicated than that. Selenocosmia is a family name which has included mistakenly other families for a long time. An example of this is S. crassipes, now correctly restored to Phlogius. I was thinking of Coremiocnemis. I was wondering about the link between tropix and valida. As there is a relationship between O. aureotibialis and a dwarf species from Koh Samui, I was wondering if the same was the same between tropix and one or more of its Asian cousins? Also if anyone has any copies of taxonomical/revision papers for O. sp. koh Samui or any Coremiocnemis sp., could I please have a copy? Many thanks.

Well thats cleared it up this end, the ATA seem to be leaning toward Phlogius in recent posts, and i must admit i was about to change labels as i thought (ignorantly) that this was published.

Shall we email "Sir" and pester him to produce a paper it's not like he has much to do really eh
