yes, however they are worth it!

The sizes seem to change as I've read they grow to 6x or 7x ?

Which I have found can be quite variable in their growth rates IE. . from 1.5 inches to 2.75 inches in approx 12 months.
These 2 were amongst 20 I had from the same eggsac and both were sexed as females at a later date.
Average size was approx 2in or just over for the other 18.

Did you find there was a different growth rate as it got past the sling/small juv stage ?
IE Did the growth slow down once a certain size was reached ?

from what I've read they grow fast as slings then slow down as subadults ?
But from what I've seen with my slings that's normal and I've got a albop juvi that moulted every month now he has slowed down and the wifes GBB has moulted twice in a month.
so with pulchra's maybe they are just the same.
I'm looking for a juvi so then with luck it might be sexed.

My G.Pulchra is a juvenile. I got to hold it for the first time last week and it behaved brilliantly. No skittishness at all. Just plodded along on my hands. Did a little poo.

There's not many breeding reports on this sp!
Is it that hard to get to breed?.
And if there are fast growers is this a good sign they could be male?.
Has any one managed to breed these every time?.

no idea about the growth rate. i got a subadult at the same time as a friend of mine, and his female is alot bigger than my female! and i think he fed his less. so go figure.

breeding...has been done. i think Chris Carter at Invicta Arachnids Club is somebody to talk to about this. Unless he found an easy way, it's considered hard/nigh impossible/incredibly lucky i think!

i know from experience that they mate readily enough, though!

Chris Carter hasn't had any luck this time.
I thought there might be others that had bred this sp!.

not really! they're easy to mate...but getting them to drop a sac is the hard part
