The tattoo you mentioned was the inspiration for that tattoo, however we tracked down the original photograph of the spider, then we also noticed there was a missing pedipalp, which of course me being me had to drawn back in..

I then used the image of the real spaider as a reference. No outlines used.

I've got a couple of tat's but not of T's. I have been looking though and there's a lot of very impressive (and some quite horrible) photo's of people's tarantula tat's. Bit of thought about which species and the placement is certainly needed to get the best results - the shape of one species may look brilliant on an arm/leg (pokies etc) but another looks very out of place there. I'll certainly be getting one eventually, in no rush however because I can imagine the cost of getting the result that I want will be a bit of a hit on the bank account!
