Interesting! So, it's soluble in ionic liquids like water and alcohol. I wonder if it's also soluble in lipids? What are the chances of getting a sample of the alcohol solution analyzed with a gas chromatograph and/or mass spectrometer? Virtually every biochemistry lab has them. All it takes is knowing somebody (a tech, grad student, post doc, or even the scientist who runs the lab) to run a sample. The physical work takes 10 minutes. The interpretation may take a while longer, but what have we got to lose?

Pics of her today-discharge seems to have lessened,legs still all deformed obviously. But she can get about fine in her tank.Tried to feed her,no luck yet-but she was never a big eater anyway
