I think it is posssible, but the spider will only eat what it needs ....
But mine do the same just keep on eating.

spiders will only eat as much as they want but try not to over feed them as this doesnot do them anyt good this canshorten the spiderslife span and even cause them to rupture their "abdomen" as it were on the vermiculite

Dont believe that it ruptures there abdomen from over eating, they just grow and grow. It can shorten the life spand but at the same time can speed up the growth process in males to synchronize for breeding purposes.
