Hi, no I don't know when Haggle will be back, Robert can keep hold of him for as long as he needs him. The Pulchra MM are long lived compared to other males so he will be ok where he is. I ought to be sending him to you next so that you have 2 different blood lines.
I have a communal Regalis tank that Julie gave me to keep me busy at the moment. There is one female in there and 3 males, I can't make up my mind if I want to seperate the female from the others, she is more than twice the size of the males.

Here is the vagan's thread -

ps. We ought to call this thread 'Louise and Sylvi's chat thread' lol

Hi Sylvi, hehehe, the chat thread continues...
The longevity of our Pulchra boys is something I'm very glad about, but I'd be even happier if they lived for 20 years, lol...my Macros is such a character that I'm not looking forward to the day when his *internal lifeclock* says: time to die.

Awwww....Haggle on a visit to me? Now that would be absolutely lovely!! Thanks so much for that offer, two bloodlines would be fantastic.

LOL @ the large Pokie lady...I bet that looks quite an intimidating sight compared to the lads!!

Well if you need another MM Pulchra to use, I'll make your house his next holiday destination

The female Regalis is beautiful, but I don't understand why she doesn't eat the boys, one of them is really diddy although they were all the same size when they went in a year ago. I think I will leave them and see what happens.

I've got a mature male Pulchra if anyone is interested. He matured 26th Nov 2007. Not looking for a 50/50 trade. I'd only want a few of the slings.

I know these are hard to breed, so well done on the egg sack. The only other successful breeding I'd heard of was some woman in America.

Also Louise, if all goes to plan and I'll keep my fingers crossed for you, I'd be very interested in buying some of the slings from you.

          Steve

Cheers Sylvi, you're an angel!! I have yet another adult female Pulchra arriving sometime soon, so when she's settled and I've got the measure of her temperament, it would be lovely for Haggle to add some diversity to the breeding lines here.

I know it's well in advance, but does your little lad have a fave food? Just so I know what to spoil him with whilst he's under my care, as I'd like to be able return him to you as handsome and loved as he left.

Hi Steve...many thanks, I'm feeling more het up by the day...lol, I'm such a goose at times, but after getting this far I just panic about things going wrong!!
I've currently no idea how many eggs might be in that there sac, but I'll be doing my best to see that as many folks get a look in as possible!

Hi Louise , if you get hold of Robert ask him to post Haggle straight to you, I will E-Mail him later tonight aswell. That will save on postage and a journey for Haggle. I only feed him on crickets as the big brave Pulchra is either scared of locusts or doesn't like them.

Will do Sylvi...and thanks again, you're wonderful!

I'll make sure your cutie gets a good share of crickets then...awww...Haggle sounds like Macros, he runs away from locusts too, but he does like the odd waxworm as a treat!

Wow, congratulations on the eggsac Pulchra are brilliant, good luck with it!

Just out of interest how big is your female? I have a pulchra girl who's a touch over 4" legspan. Any idea if that's big enough to be breedable? I'm itching to start breeding my Ts and am trying to figure out if any of them are ready yet

Lol I jus realized something and I feel stupid about it (I'm guessing you've realized) - I called you by your surname, and spelt it wrong too! I meant to say Louise, but I type Nichol without an -s!

Congratulations Louise and Miranda! I bet you can't wait for all the little spidlerlings to hatch, do you know the due date?!

I had male and female pinktoes a few years ago, and put them in the same tank together to see if they would breed. Despite living together very happily and having lots of spider sex, no spiderlings came of it sadly, so I am really pleased you have got some on the way yourself. Keep us informed of how Miranda is doing!
