Its is hard work but worth it. The only problem is that myself and Angela spend so much time sorting out exploding toilets

or tracking down a key for the lecture hall etc.etc etc. that we dont actually see any of the spiders.

Never mind ...................thanks to you all for attending and hopefully see you next year if I can find someone to unblock this damn toilet........

    Ray and Angela
I must admit I was one of the victims of the exploding toilet and gave me heck of a shock must not have seen the sign ah well life would be dull without such strange incidents lol

What a weekend, (pics later if i can work out how to get them on here)

Thanks to James Box, Michael Olsina, Stuart Edwards and Sara, for their help in the first stage of cataloging the Theraphosid collection at the BM on the Friday, we managed to get around one 6th of the collection onto spreadsheet.

Cheers to Ray for sorting out our hotel for us and all the BTS crew for organizing another great show. It was great to meet the usual old crowd Colin Elaine etc, and the people I have known for a long time LOL (even though i dont know the names of many of them) and meeting some people Lisa B, Clair etc for the first time after only talking on email.

This was the first show where i very nearly sold out only coming home with a few spiderlings of Chaetopelma sp "kunti" (or whatever it is going to be called) if those people who bought some label them up as this then there will be no problems when the paper comes out correcting the final name.

hopefully we will be there again next year.

      Thanks again

I was surprised you didnt sell out of the chaetoplema, interesting species I may have to get a couple more from you, I had to restrain myself to just the one at the show. so would labelling the spider C kunti be okay as I wasn't sure what to write on the tub? How many did you come back with just for future reference?

what a great name for a spider 'kunti' pmsl, is that the location it was found in or named after the guy who described it .

not a bad day over all, i did not bring many spiders back with me, well not many that i will be looking after anyway samantha you have your work cut out now, i like my hands in IMS too much these days.

was really good to see everyone again, faces old and new.

Last couple of years I have been really busy with university coursework so going to the shows has really just been a fly by and havent had the opportunity to really get to chatting like usual but going into my final year now so will be available to give a helping hand next time round. Lee certainly seemed to gain popularity this year with the amount of people. Maybe that was the from amount of times I plugged his site on forums and praised his contributions whenever newcomers to the hobby came by
